To make reservations, contact the Warrior Center (WC) for date and room availability. While official military functions are given priority, reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Once an accommodation is decided upon, a 50% deposit is required along with a signed deposit form to guarantee your booking. WC will hold a reservation for 3 business days without a deposit before releasing the date to other prospective customers. If an event is cancelled 90 days prior to the event date, a full refund will be given. If an event is cancelled 60 days prior to the event date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If an event is cancelled 30 days before the event date, 25% of the deposit will be refunded. If the event is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the event date, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. Deposits are not required for official military functions, but a signed contract or Letter of Intent from the sponsoring organization will be needed to reserve the space.
Warrior Center (WC) offers a wide variety of food and beverage services to compliment your function. Once your space has been reserved, an appointment can be set to arrange for catering service. WC catering services are offered Tuesday through Saturday for unofficial functions. Events held on Sundays or holidays may incur additional per-person charges to cover employee premium pay/benefits. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are only permitted when WC catering services are not available or when minimum food and beverage purchases ($300) cannot be met. A separate contract will be required to secure catering services and will be signed no sooner than 90 days or later than 30 days prior to the event. The individual signing the contract will be responsible for the event and is the only person authorized to make changes to the contract.
A guaranteed guest count is due one week prior to your event along with the first payment of 50% of the estimated catering bills. The guaranteed guest count cannot be reduced by more than 10% from this point forward. The final guest count and remaining payment are due 72 hours prior to the event. Any balances that change or are accumulated during the function will be settled the first business day following the event. The host is responsible for all payments. WC staff will not be used to collect payment from individual event attendees.
An 18% service charge will be applied to the total sales of food and beverage for an event. Sales tax will not be charged on food, beverage or service charge.
If your event requires a specialty cake from outside the facility, a flat fee of $25 per 100 guests will be charged for cake service. This fee covers the cost of plates, forks, napkins and linen for the cake table.
WC offers off-site catering to on-post facilities.

The Warrior Center (WC) offers an excellent setting to host your special event. In addition to serving our Fort Polk community, we're also open to the general public for private functions.
We have banquet rooms for hail and farewells, Military balls and special occasions. Our catering menu offers a wide variety of options and we'll be happy to customize your event to meet your needs. We offer buffet or plated breakfasts, lunches, dinners, hors d'oeuvres and beverage service.
