Basic Handgun Safety Seminar - 3.5 Hours of Essential Training

Join us for a comprehensive Basic Handgun Safety Seminar designed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for safe firearm handling. This informative 3.5-hour course is perfect for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills.

What You’ll Learn:

• Rules of Firearm Safety: Understand the critical principles that ensure safe handling of firearms.

• Safe Firearm Storage: Learn best practices for securely storing firearms to prevent unauthorized access.

• Child Access Prevention: Discuss strategies to protect children from accessing firearms.

• Handgun Types and Ammunition: Gain insight into various handguns and the ammunition used with them.

• Hands-On Instruction: Receive practical guidance on how to operate a handgun and learn basic shooting fundamentals.

• Live Fire Instruction: Experience 50 rounds of live fire practice to develop your marksmanship skills.

Important Note: This seminar is NOT a carry permit course and does NOT cover use-of-force or self-defense laws. The focus is solely on safe handling and marksmanship fundamentals.

What to Bring:

• Eye and Ear Protection: Required for participation (loaners are available).

• Closed Toe Shoes and Appropriate Clothing: Dress for the range and outdoor conditions.

• Your Handgun (if applicable): If you own a handgun, please bring it unloaded and in a case (leave in your vehicle upon arrival). A limited number of firearms will be available for use.

Participants must be 18 years or older. No prerequisites or prior experience are necessary.
